HOLI - Festival of Colours

At the Vellore Village Community Centre on March 17th, Hindu culture illustrated the beauty of the Holi tradition that is also referred to as the Festival of Colours, with ceremonial activities for all. Gujarati folk dances such as Garba and Dandiya Raas were performed to ethnic-customary music, and in addition, many guests were dressed in traditional clothing to reinforce the festival's enthusiasm. This tradition celebrates benevolence amidst communities, and endearment toward relatives and friends, encompassing the symbolic sentiments of the spring season’s restoration and viability.
