The design review panel will consider the following items at its meeting Thursday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. in committee room 245, city hall.

Promenade Shopping Centre revitalization proposal-The panel will undertake its first review of the proposed revitalization of the Promenade Shopping Centre at Bathurst and Centre streets. The proposal, by Promenade Limited Partnership, seeks to add new retail, office, hotel and residential uses on the site. The first phase of the proposed development includes retaining and enhancing the shopping centre by creating a mixed-use destination that will become a community focal point, complete with a walkable pedestrian environment. The project is subject to the future secondary plan.

Presentations will be made by Vaughan senior urban designer Shahrzad Davoudi-Strike and development planner Christina Napoli, WZMH Architects principal David Moore, and Schollen & Company principal Paul Nodwell.
