Climate change action found wanting

Yesterday the auditor general of Canada released Perspectives on Climate Change Action in Canada, a collaborative report by the federal and provincial auditors general, which summarizes climate change action in Canada.

Overall the auditors general found that “actions taken by governments to date to address climate change across the country have fallen short of the governments’ commitments.” The report identifies key issues and provides critical questions to assist governments across Canada in advancing on their climate change commitments.
