How bad are the roads you travel on?
The Canadian Automobile Association wants to know.
The organization is launching its 15th annual campaign asking commuters to submit their nominations for the worst roads in Ontario.
For the last three years, the CAA has also put together regional lists.
Last year, in the Halton-Peel-York-Durham category, Hwy. 7 in Markham was No. 1 on the list.
Bayview Avenue in Richmond Hill was fourth.
The others on the list were Zephyr Road in Uxbridge, New Street in Burlington and Bloor Street West in Oshawa.
In 2016, Vaughan claimed most of the places on the top five list.
The worst road in York Region was Dufferin Street in Vaughan, which placed second on the list, followed by King-Vaughan Road at fourth and Hwy. 7 at fifth.
Cedar Street in Uxbridge was first and Zephyr Road in Uxbridge was third.
In 2015, Davis Drive in Newmarket, which underwent a major reconstruction to accommodate new bus lanes, was the only York Region road to make the top five list, coming in second.
Bloor Street East in Oshawa, Ashburn Road in Port Perry, Steeles Avenue East in Brampton and New Street in Burlington were also on the list.
No York Region roads made the list of worst roads in Ontario over the last 15 years, although Steeles Avenue West in Toronto, informally considered the dividing line between York and Toronto, came in 14th.
Votes for CAA’s Worst Roads can be cast at caaworstroads.com until April 15.
