When Whitchurch-Stouffville Mayor Justin Altmann was docked 30 days pay last year after an integrity commissioner investigation into his wall, he was also supposed to make a public apology within 90 days. The 90-day deadline passed Dec. 22 and no apology was forthcoming and Altmann doesn't intend to issue one.
"We will appeal the Integrity commissioner's (findings)," he said, mentioning that his lawyers were handling the situation.
Altmann said he requested council make a judicial investigation of the investigation and the final report of the integrity commissioner in September and is still seeking this.
Integrity commissioner Suzanne Craig found Altmann's actions amounted to workplace harassment, in a report released Sept. 22.
