On December 13th and 14th Patricia Cuto, operator of "Vaughanmoms", transformed Vellore Hall/Park, into a winter wonderland filled with sparkling lights, festive local vendors and live Christmas performances. Guests were welcomed to the "Vaughan Christmas Market" to experience this authentic, free, outdoor holiday market with family, friends and neighbours from the local community. The market offered such things as free photos with Santa Claus, live Christmas music by Arcadia Academy of Music, horse and wagon rides, a BELIEVE mail station for kids to write and mail their letters to Santa, festive vendors, delicious goodies and so much more. Kids also had the pleasure of meeting “Olaf” from the movie “Frozen” as he was seen venturing around the holiday market. Roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate were enjoyed as guests had the opportunity to Christmas shop with all the vendors that were present. The Vaughan Christmas Village was a great success. It was a fun way to bring the City of Vaughan together just in time for the holidays.
