On November 10th, St. Andre Bessette Parish held their 3rd Annual “” Gala at Fontana Primavera Event Centre in Woodbridge. The hall played host to great food, music, a silent auction, raffles, and a chance to win a new car from Maple Toyota. The Gala was attended by over 650 people including Vaughan’s Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, Deputy Mayor Mario Ferri and Regional Councillor Gino Rosati. Neighbouring parishes and schools gathered together to support the future construction of St. Andre Bessette Church in Maple.

Fr. Peter Jae Choi, pastor of St. Andre Bessette Parish, said that since its inception in September 2013, the Parish has grown to over 1100 families. Masses are currently held at St. Cecilia Catholic School in Maple. During his speech, Fr. Peter announced that the Building Committee will be unveiling the design of the future church in a few weeks. Parishioners were very excited to hear the news and are eager to get a glimpse at upcoming Masses. St. Andre Bessette Roman Catholic Church will be built on the southeast corner of Thomas Cook Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive.
