Community Celebrates Official Opening of Spring Blossom Park

 

 

Members of Council and residents gathered on Thursday, Aug. 14 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open Spring Blossom Park.

Spring Blossom Park is in Ward 4 and features accessible junior and senior playgrounds, a mini soccer field, a full basketball court and shaded seating areas.

The park is at 1 Apple Blossom Dr., at the southeast corner of Dufferin Street.

• Wood carpet surfacing in the junior and senior playground areas
• Mini soccer field, full basketball court and shaded seating areas
• Native and drought-tolerant plants throughout the park
• City of Vaughan maintains more than 1,000 (2,471.05 acres)  hectares of parks and open space land, more than 230 sports fields and more than 200 playgrounds
