The City of Vaughan recently released its annual implementation update on Green Directions Vaughan, the City’s Community Sustainability and Environmental Master Plan. It reports on 24 core environmental baseline indicators designed to measure the progress and impact of the outcomes, and serves as a guide for achieving a sustainable environment, vibrant community and strong economy in Vaughan.
In 2013, 12 of the 24 Green Directions Vaughan indicators showed marked progress, with the most significant improvements in the following six areas:
