MBA grad seeks Ward 4 seat

Jonathan Gorenstein, 29, has lived in Thornhill since he was 15.

He attended Ryerson University and earned his bachelor of commerce degree and a masters in business. He is a sales representative for Colliers International, a global commercial real estate services organization.

Gorenstein is aiming for the Ward 4 Vaughan councillor seat.

“I am seeking this position because it is important to me to be an active member in the community that I grew up in and will continue living in,” he said. “I know this community well and I believe I can make a difference in a positive direction, allowing me to give back to my community”.

His volunteer work has included: Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, Joel Schwartz Memorial Hockey Tournament and volunteering for North York General Hospital.

He describes himself as approachable, loyal, a hard worker and a person with business skills.
