Mackenzie Health Early Work Groundbreaking

Local dignitaries and representatives from Mackenzie Health used July 7th to mark an important milestone in the ongoing effort to improve local healthcare and bring a hospital to Vaughan. The groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of early work to prepare the site of the Vaughan Healthcare Centre Precinct, which includes the site of the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. Early work will include the construction of road, stormwater, water and wastewater servicing needs for the 82-acre site. The occasion also featured speeches from the newly minted Minister of Transportation, MPP Steven Del Duca & Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, who each spoke of the progress made in bringing the much needed hospital to the people of Vaughan.
