Longo's opens new, expanded store in Woodbridge

Woodbridge shoppers are getting more fresh and local Longo’s offerings beginning  Sept. 2 when the Longo’s family and team members open its new 47,000-sq.-foot location at Weston and Rutherford roads. 

This new and expanded store is replacing the previous Longo’s location down the road at Langstaff and Weston Road.

“We’re very excited to be opening the largest Longo’s in the area,” Longo’s Brothers Fruit Markets president and CEO Anthony Longo said.

Woodbridge store manager Frank Sangirardi will manage the new location that will host such things as a Loft Cooking School with classes and information seminars.

There will be a full service Starbucks coffee shop and seating area as well as a Wine Shop.

The new location will offer:

* Full service meat and seafood service counter;

* Expanded kitchen including stone oven pizza and grilled paninis;

* Full service bakery including chocolatier and;

* Expanded grocery, dairy and frozen.
