His traditional early-to-mid August tour now seemingly well underway, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is set to spend a second day in the Greater Toronto Area.

According to the itinerary released by his office, however, he'll be doing so behind closed doors, for the most part, as the only item listed on the itinerary released by his office is an evening appearance at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Park in Vaughan - and even that is designated a "Members Event", which suggests it may not be open to the general public.

Also out and about in southern Ontario today: Justice Minister Peter MacKay, who is slated to join London North Centre Conservative MP Susan Truppe for a "roundtable discussion on criminal justice issues."

Meanwhile, in Welland, Public Works Minister Diane Finley shares the details of "new educational programming for Niagara, Hamilton and Burlington regions."
