You can enjoy a round of golf this summer and help stop impaired driving at the same time.
MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) York Region chapter is presenting Golf Fore MADD at Copper Creek Golf Club in Kleinburg, Wednesday, Aug. 27.
For just $500 a foursome or $125 per person, you can enjoy 18 holes of golf with shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., breakfast and buffet lunch, shared cart, and silent and live auctions.
As well as serious golf, you can enjoy a putting contest, marshmallow drive, compete for the longest or straightest drive or even try frisbee golf.
It’s all in aid of the MADD chapter’s mission to stop impaired driving and support victims in York Region who are affected by this violent crime.
Copper Creek club is located on Hwy. 27, between King Sideroad and Major Mackenzie Drive.
As well as golf participants, hole and prize sponsors are also welcomed; contact York Regional Police Sergeant Jason McIlveen, a member of MADD, at 905-895-1221 ext 7706 or email 998@yrp.ca.
