Between July 1 and Aug. 31, Vaughan Public Libraries challenge the teenagers of Vaughan to beat the Teen Summer Reading Challenge.

If teens are able to collectively read one million pages, they will have the opportunity to win prizes and to choose a costume style that Vaughan public librarians will wear for one week.

The top teen reader in Vaughan will be rewarded with their very own Kobo Arc, and the second and third place readers will also receive prizes.

How to participate: visit www.vaughanpl.info to register and create an account for the Teen Summer Reading Challenge.

Every time you read a book, magazine, comic or other item, log onto the challenge site to enter the title and number of pages you’ve read.

Be on the lookout for more details on the reading challenge at www.vaughanpl.info and on VPL’s Teen Vortex blog.
