McMichael Moonlight Gala 2014

Guests were dressed to perfection at the Moonlight Gala 2014, held at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. On June 14th, approximately 500 guests made their way to one of Vaughan's crown jewels for an unforgettable evening featuring live music and dancing for everyone to take part in. The evening began with Cocktail Reception and an official welcome by CTV’s Canada AM co-host, Beverly Thomson.

Jay Mandarino then followed with the Live Auction, the Deloitte Challenge and an incredible live performance by The Collective where they performed a wide selection of works. Sophie Milman, 2011 Juno Award winner and international jazz sensation, then captivated the guests with her compelling yet sophisticated vocals. Guests were provided with a delicious dinner, gourmet dessert, wine tasting and scotch bar and cigars curated by Felice Sabatino, Via Allegro Ristorante.

There was also a silent auction available for everyone to place a bid on some of the lovely items on sale. Proceeds for this event will support interactive and accessible educational programs and exhibitions that will leave an impact on Canadian art and culture.
