Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park Kicks Off

The City of Vaughan hosted its annual Concerts in the Park series which featured several professional concerts free-of-charge. Many people within the community took advantage of these free concerts and brought the entire family to enjoy the live music. Mayor Bevilacqua helped kick off the show with welcoming speech and an introduction to the first performance of the evening.

This year’s concert series was presented by TD Bank and sponsored by CN, Direct Energy Home Services and Tim Hortons. The special kick off concert featured the Toronto All-Star Big Band at the Courtyard at Vaughan City Hall. The music had people travelling back in time as they enjoyed the sounds of the 30s, 40s and 50s. Everyone had a wonderful time at the event and we can’t wait to hear the exciting lineup for next year!
