Pleasant Ridge Library Topping Off Ceremony

Members of the Vaughan Public Library (VPL) Board, Deputy Mayor, Members of Council and VPL staff attended a topping off ceremony for the new Pleasant Ridge Library (located at 300 Pleasant Ridge Avenue) on Friday, June 6th to celebrate the topping off of the library structure and to welcome the next phase of construction.

As part of the ceremony, attendees signed one of the structure’s steel beams. Since the construction began in February, things have progressed quickly. The steel structure of the building is almost complete and the new library is expected to open by year end.
