If you live in Vaughan, you’re invited to take part in a contest called the Sprout-A-Garden Photo Contest.

The contest was launched to encourage residents to learn more about Vaughan’s community garden program and to get outside and enjoy gardening.

The city is accepting photos of back yard gardens, community gardens or people participating in gardening activities.

Contest organizers want to see vegetable or flower gardens at any stage - whether they’re flower beds with fresh soil or little sprouts, seedlings, flowers or fruit.

The contest is open to everyone, whether you garden at home or volunteer at a community garden.

Simply fill out the entry form and upload your photo and photo description to enter (Go to a.pgtb.me/wnXQPL). Applicants have until Aug. 31 to submit an entry.
