York Regional Police want to let the public know about two dogs, possible German Shepherds, are acting aggresively, and on the loose in Thornhill.
Officers were called into the area of a wooded area near Huntington Park and Greenlane area, where they saw two dogs and became aggressive toward one of them. The dogs then ran off, only to later come across two people, in separate incidents in which the people were bit, and suffered minor injuries.
Police then found one of the dogs in the same area, but because of the darkness called off attempts to apprehend the dog.
Officials say they've called off the search for now, but are reminding residents in the region, if they come across either of the dogs, not to feed or approach them. Neither of the dogs were wearing a collar or tags to identify them, or their owner.
