GTA in Brief: Changes to Mississauga’s parks by-law

City of Mississauga council amended its parks by-law at its meeting June 11.

The purpose of the revisions is to regulate certain activities and create special management areas regarding gardens. Changes include requiring a permit to play ice hockey, prohibiting cyclists from blocking pathways and changing lease-free zone hours.
