The City of Markham has launched two new public art projects including a mural and traffic control art boxes. The projects are part of the city’s public realm strategy to engage residents and create better environments in public spaces. Artists, in collaboration with Varley Art Gallery and artist Katherine Harvey, created the mural artwork located on Henderson Bridge. Artists from Forge Collective will be wrapping a total of nine traffic control boxes with artwork throughout the city.
