The City of Mississauga’s city hall has become one of the most energy efficient city halls in Canada, according to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s town hall challenge. The building was ranked highly by reaching a “target of 20 equivalent kilowatt hours per square foot of energy intensity.”

The city intends to continue its efforts through high efficiency boilers and LED lights.
