Lafarge Canada Inc. (Eastern Canada) renews partnership with Earth Rangers to bring the wonder of wildlife to schools

Lafarge Canada Inc. (Eastern Canada) is proud to be partnering with Earth Rangers to visit schools in Eastern Canada this year to inspire children to help Bring Back the Wild. Lafarge's $35,000 partnership will help expand the Earth Rangers School Outreach Program, which features live Animal Ambassadors demonstrating their amazing natural behaviours, and inspires students to learn more about biodiversity and conservation.

Earth Rangers is the kids' conservation organization, dedicated to educating children and families about biodiversity and empowering them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats. "Earth Rangers is committed to sharing our conservation message with as many children and families as possible," said Peter Kendall, Executive Director of Earth Rangers. "We're proud to be partnering with Lafarge once again to bring our School Outreach Program to students in Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia".

The goal of the Bring Back the Wild program is simple yet critical: to educate and inspire children about biodiversity loss in an engaging and interactive format and provide tools to help them protect animals at risk across Canada. Using the power of live animals to connect with children, the School Outreach Program features a full school assembly that tells the stories of four unique Canadian species with population sin decline. The program inspires students to want to learn more about animals and their habitats and work to help protect biodiversity.

To participate, students can visit EarthRangers.com, register to become Earth Rangers and start their own Bring Back the Wild campaigns.
