In commemoration of national poetry month, the Vaughan Poets’ Circle will perform readings at the Bathurst Clark Resource Library, 900 Clark Ave W. in Thornhill, part of the Vaughan Public Library system.
On Saturday, from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m, you can listen to poetry and share your own. If you’re interested in sharing your poetry, you’re asked to sign up prior to 10:30 a.m. Admission for the event is free.
The Vaughan Poets’ Circle includes more than 40 poets, who have been meeting monthly since January 2006. Many poets launch their books of poetry at this event and read from their new and already published works. Refreshments, door prizes and books will be available for purchase.
