The Jaffari community caters to one of the largest Muslim communities in North America and has a strong tradition of providing charitable services and outreach programs to the wider Canadian society.

There are too many places around the world experiencing bloody conflicts occurring over religious tensions.

The leaders and citizens of Thornhill should be proud that their already tolerant community could serve as a shining example to the rest of the world where members of all Abrahamic faiths can not only co-exist, but also co-operate to serve their citizens and the less fortunate.

Allowing this faith-based organization to expand its charitable services will be good for Thornhill and good for Canada.
