RBC’s Annual Family Skate Day brought many happy and smiling guests to the Woodbridge Memorial Arena last month. The two-hour fundraiser added to the considerable contributions RBC has made to the Mackenzie Health Foundation. From local government officials to RBC clients, employees, family, and friends, all were united in support of the cause – as the event has been a boon to the future Vaughan hospital since its inception!

While the pad at Woodbridge Memorial housed hundreds of skaters during the event, the refreshments, and especially the hot chocolate, provided a great chance to mingle with friends, old and new. There are 7 RBC branches here in the City of Vaughan, and all RBC employees are committed to providing a little extra to the community which they serve. To date, the efforts of RBC Vaughan and those who continually support the event have been a boon to this community and the people looking forward to one day having their own hospital right here in Vaughan.
