Opera Belcanto of York 5th Annual Fundraising Gala

It was a grand celebration at the Opera Belcanto of York 5th Annual Fundraising Gala on February 8th. Presented by the Opera Belcanto of York, the event was held at La Primavera Hospitality and Convention Centre in Woodbridge.

There was a number of special guest appearances throughout the night including Deputy Mayor Gino Rosati and Regional Councillor Michael DiBiase. The Master of Ceremonies that evening was none other than Vincenzo Somma of OMNI TV. The night started off with guests helping themselves to a delightful Antipasto Bar.

A full course dinner then ensued two hours later with guests encouraged to check out the Open Bar throughout the night. Soon they opened up the dance floor for everyone to dance the night away. Guests also got to sit back and enjoy an incredible live concert and a breathtaking ballet performance.

Everyone was encouraged to participate in the silent auction and raffle ticket draw. Opera Belcanto of York is an opera company based in Vaughan with a mixed-voice group of around 30 choir members and soloists of various ages.
