Thornhill libraries offer fun March break activities
Lots of fun, free programs for children

Spring is just around the corner, as is March break. If you are looking for ideas to entertain your children March 10 to 15, then Vaughan Public Libraries has suggestions for fun, creativity and education.

With a dozen free, fun programs at Thornhill branches, you are bound to find something your child will love.

MONDAY, MARCH 10
ROCKgarden Party by Little Fingers Music is an interactive musical for children that gets them singing, drumming and dancing along to the beat. Come to Bathurst Clark Resource Library Mar. 10 at 11 a.m.. Tickets are $2 each, however, space is limited. Purchase tickets at the service desk, available now.

Enjoy a Sleepover Adventure! Ever wonder what your stuffed animals do while you’re sleeping? Bring your favourite stuffed toy to Bathurst Clark Resource Library Mar. 10 at 2 p.m. for fun activities and leave them with us overnight to find out.

Enjoy Just Plane Fun and find out how far and how long your paper airplanes can fly. It’s a fun way to learn about aerodynamics for ages 6 to 12 at Dufferin Clark library Mar. 10 at 2 p.m. or Bathurst Clark Resource Library Mar. 12 at 3 p.m.

TUESDAY, MARCH 11
Wimpy Dorks with Diaries: You’ve laughed your way through Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, so continue the fun at Dufferin Clark library Mar. 11 at 2 p.m. We’ll chat about the books and make our own diaries.

Enjoy Blue Spruce @ the Library; Come to Bathurst Clark Resource Library Mar. 11 at 3 p.m. to hear librarians read this year’s Forest of Reading Blue Spruce nominations. Do fun activities and come back to vote for your favourite in April!

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12
Jedi Training: You are invited on a Galactic adventure for ages 6 – 12 at Dufferin Clark Library Mar. 12 at 2 p.m. Train to become a Jedi Master and defeat the Dark Side. Costumes are welcome.

Get Creative: An assortment of craft materials and books will be provided to inspire you to get creative at Dufferin Clark Library Mar. 13 at 2 p.m.

Mad About Munsch: Join us for some great Munsch stories and crazy Munsch activities for ages 6 – 12 at Bathurst Clark Resource Library Mar. 13 at 3 p.m.

THURSDAY, MARCH 14
Mad Scientist: Join us for some wild experiments and create your own wacky concoctions at Bathurst Clark Resource Library Mar. 14 starting at 3 p.m.
