York Region wins public works awards

York Region has received three awards from the Ontario Public Works Association for projects carried out last year in the categories of environment, structures and disaster/emergency construction/repair. The awards recognized the region’s management and administration of the Uplands emergency repair project on sewer services, the Keswick water pollution control plant outfall expansion project and the Bayview pumping station west watermain project.
