There will be no river of green running through York Region.

No parades featuring Rob Ford.

But you can still celebrate St. Patrick's Day across the region tomorrow.

Expect plenty of emerald-coloured beverages, red hair, danced jigs and and wannabe leprechauns.

Here's just a taste:

Vaughan may be better known as the home of Italian culture, but it appears to be party central in York for all things Irish Monday.

One day is not enough for Fionn MacCool's, 6110 Hwy 7. They've been celebrating eight St. Patrick's "Days" ending Monday.

The Celtic Brogues play the pub tonight from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Four bands – including closing act The O'Deadly's – and dancers perform Monday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

The Dub Linn Gate Irish Pub, on Interchange Way in Vaughan, has three bands on the docket, a Virgin Radio live broadcast and giveaways. Expect a "packed" house, according to its website.

The Earl of Whitchurch in downtown Stouffville has Treo and One playing at 8 p.m. and green bar on tap. Reservations are recommended.

The Unionville Arms is also pouring green beer.

The new DNA Bar and Lounge on Yonge Street in Aurora has been celebrating all weekend. It extends into Monday with signature drinks,  green balloons and $3 shots, all part of its grand opening.
