M.P. Julian Fantino's Annual New Year’s Levee

Julian Fantino, MP for the region of Vaughan welcomed the community to join him at his Annual New Year’s Levee on January 18th. This year’s event was held at the Veneto Centre located at 7465 Kipling Avenue in Vaughan. While guests were piling in, almost 750 of them throughout the day, Fantino took the time to make his way around the room and chat with everyone who dropped by to say hello.

“This is one of my favourite events throughout the entire year,” said Fantino. “It's wonderful to see so many residents come out and join us.”

Fantino, along with his staff and local volunteers, enjoyed an afternoon of refreshments and entertainment with residents of all ages. There were special appearances by Minnie Mouse, Kermit the Frog, SpongeBob Squarepants and Big Bird who were distributing balloons to the many children in attendance. From singing to dancing, the New Year’s Levee was a great success and there was fun had by all in attendance.
