The City of Vaughan’s 2014 Spring and Summer Recreation Guide has been delivered to Vaughan homes.

Free fitness, swim and sports passes are included in the “Your Community” section of the guide.

The award-winning publication features a variety of leisure opportunities for all ages and ability levels. Program categories include: playschools; sports; swimming; performing, creative, culinary, education and language arts; and health and wellness. PA Day, special theme programs and summer day camps, as well as pay-as-you-go and membership options for aquafitness, swimming, sports and fitness are also available. During the summer school break, children and youth aged three to 16 can choose from more than 50 one and two week camps.

The Recreation eGuide, a digital online publication with page-flipping and interactive features including direct program links to online registration (vaughan.ca/RecOnline), can be viewed at vaughan.ca/eGuide beginning Jan. 31.

For general and aquatic programs, residents can register for both spring and summer sessions at the same time.

Registration for summer day camps, general programs and swimming lessons began last week.
