Do you have a family member with mental health or addiction challenges who is in need of housing?
If so, the Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) wants to hear from you.
A meeting will be held Sunday, Dec. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Krasman Centre in Richmond Hill, 10121 Yonge St., a block north of Major Mackenzie Drive.
The Central LHIN is developing a multi-year plan for mental health and addictions housing. As part of the process, officials are asking for input from family members of people with mental illness and/or addictions challenges.
The goal is to gather input about several aspects of housing including supply, types of housing units, and what kinds of supports are needed.
Other meetings will also be held to seek input from people who use housing services and from the organizations that provide these services.
Taken together, the information will guide development of a plan and help shape new housing programs.
If interested in attending, RSVP to Karen Cox at 905-780-0491, ext. 117, or k.cox@krasmancentre.com
