Those seeking unique, handcrafted and exquisitely designed pieces for holiday gift giving had to look no farther than the 9th Annual Vaughan of a Kind Art and Craft Show. Not your “typical” craft sale this signature event was held at the Vellore Village Community Centre in Woodbridge. The show featured more than 80 artisans from the City of Vaughan and the Greater Toronto Area, curated for their talent and expertise in design. New artisans joined returning vendors, each displaying gorgeous items like hand-crafted jewelry, beautiful paintings, photography and prints alongside textiles, ceramics, fashion and contemporary holiday décor. Shoppers were also delighted to find hand-hewn and natural bath and body products along with baked goods that looked simply too good to eat. Even the children were able to enjoy time well spent in the complimentary Kid’s Art Room creating personal masterpieces in a studio instructed and supervised atmosphere. With truly something for everyone, the show was well attended and enjoyed by both guests and vendors alike.
