The Vaughan Film Festival's Fall Media Launch showcased the immense growth experienced by organizers of the event in now, the 3rd year of its existence. Hosted by two-time Gemini recipient and CBC News Network anchor Suhana Meharchand, the event at Vaughan’s City Hall brought together sponsors, volunteers and local dignitaries as this year’s event lineup was announced. Local high schools will once again play a big part in the festivities, both in the films submitted and the VFF’s yearly scholarship in the arts at stake for this city’s budding artists. The #talkingfilm campaign was also launched, as the social media campaign allows prospective screeners, award show attendees and fans of film the opportunity to receive an all access pass to the 2015 Festivities. And, the dates of the screenings and award shows were also announced. Visit www.vaughanfilmfestival.com for comprehensive details on this year’s event and learn all about the 2015 VFF and how you can play a role in one of the city’s biggest showcases.
