One of the best Thornhill Woods haunted houses for charity supports the Hospital for Sick Children.

Tonight, from 6 to 9 p.m., the home at 1 Kirsbury Ave. will provide scary fun for a good cause (weather permitting).

This home in the middle of Thornhill, a corner house on Thornhill Woods Drive at Kirsbury, between Bathurst and Dufferin, will be transformed into a creepy haunted house, with the front yard designed to look like a cemetery.

Walking up the driveway, through the cemetery, to the house will be a nightmare, promise family members.

For a minimum donation of $2 per person, you can explore the fear-filled house, with horror-themed rooms. Each room is filled with its own scary creatures and terrifying live actors.

Over the years, the Thornhill Woods Haunted House has raised more than $40,000 to support the Sick Kids Foundation.

This year, the money will be donated to the cardiac care unit in honour of 5-year-old Amayah Lobo, who received her new heart in July 2014.
