Volunteers wanted for Kleinburg food drive

A Kleinburg ratepayers group is seeking volunteers to help with its annual food drive.

The Kleinburg and Area Ratepayers Association is holding its seventh annual holiday food drive in support of the Vaughan Food Bank Saturday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event takes place at the Kline House, the northwest corner of Islington Avenue and Nashville Road.

Organizers are seeking drivers and “collectors” to help with the event, which brought in more than 700 pounds of food last year.

High school students can earn community service hours for helping out.
