Mark your calendars, voters, as several local groups finalize the details for a variety of municipal election debates in advance of the Oct. 27 vote.
First up is an all-candidates debate for those vying for the Woodbridge East (Ward 3) council seat, as well as the regional councillor-candidates.
It takes place on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre, 1 Villa Royale Ave., in Woodbridge.
The debate is organized by several local ratepayers groups. Visit ward3debate.com or westondownsRA.com for more information.
Next up is a public debate for all regional councillor-candidates running in Vaughan.
That is set for Thursday, Oct. 16 beginning at 7 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre.
