You don’t have to wait until voting day to cast your ballot in the upcoming Municipal Election. While voting day is Monday, Oct. 27, the City of Vaughan is providing a unique opportunity for you to vote ahead of time.

On Tuesday, Oct. 14, and Wednesday, Oct. 15, students, staff and faculty at York University can cast their ballots at an advance voting poll located in the Bear Pit in Central Square, which will be open from 9am to 8pm both days.

Voting at York University, like all advance voting locations in the City of Vaughan, will use a “vote anywhere” approach that allows any qualified Vaughan voter to vote at any of the locations regardless of the ward in which they live. Identification is required.

Remember - anyone who is qualified to vote on voting day can cast their ballet during the advance vote. You don’t need a special reason. Take advantage of the convenience of advance voting and encourage your friends to do the same.
