Events, activities ramp up at Thornhill's Shaar Shalom

Howard Nightingale will speak about the challenges he faced in restoration of the Polish Siedlezcka Cemetery Sunday Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m., 2 Simonston Blvd, Thornhill. This event is hosted by the Shaar Shalom Brotherhood and Adult Education Comittee.

Then on Friday, Jan. 31, the challah baking program will take place at Shaar Shalom from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This event is open to all ages and attendees will get their chance to take their edible creations to back at home.

Every Monday, Shaar Shalom hosts the weekly bridge program. This lesson begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by a play from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
