There will be tons of free interactive activities taking place in Vaughan this weekend as the city joins communities across Canada in celebrating Culture Days.

You can check out a family friendly puppet show at City Playhouse; learn how to cook healthy Italian dishes with Finna Scroppo at J.E.H. McDonald House; take in a photography exhibition dedicated to facial hair at city hall or learn salsa dancing at Maple Community Centre, among myriad other activities.

You can also get free admission to some of the city’s top attractions including the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, which is offering gallery tours, and the Kortright Centre for Conservation, which is hosting nature hikes.

After working up a thirst, you can drop by Magnotta Winery, Brewery & Distillery for a free wine tasting and guided tour.

Vaughan Culture Days take place between Sept. 24 and Sept. 27.

The sixth annual national event boasts more than 7,500 activities taking place in more than 900 communities across the country.
