The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives recently launched the Good for Canada platform to end income inequality. It asks Canadians to vote wisely in the upcoming federal election. The user-friendly platform lays out a four-part strategy to tackle income inequality. It features a range of policy ideas to help create more good jobs, take Canada’s social safety net into the 21st century, launch new public programs, such as universal affordable childcare, a national pharmacare program and access to affordable higher education, and adopt a progressive system of taxation.
