Thornhill youths start unique summer ventures

Three young Thornhill entrepreneurs are pursuing their dreams this summer.

These young people are part of Summer Company, an annual program run by the Vaughan Business Enterprise Centre in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure.

The program provides hands-on business mentoring to young entrepreneurs.

The three Thornhill entrepreneurs participating within the Vaughan group are: Daniel Kantor, Sandra Sinayuk and Alexander Cieslak.

Daniel Kantor - Critico Entertainment

This Thornhill native says he wants to “develop awesome games for awesome people”.

Critico Entertainment is a company that develops games for mobile devices. Kantor strives to create fun and entertaining games for all ages. His latest game, War of Eraz, will soon be released for download on Android and iPhone.

Sandra Sinayuk - Verbena Cosmetics

After realizing the scarcity of pure, natural beauty products, Sandra Sinayuk decided to create her own - Verbena Cosmetics. Sinayuk produces 100 per cent vegan and cruelty-free plant-based cosmetics. She has embarked on starting the business of her dreams.

Alexander Cieslak - Performance PC

Alexander Cieslak turned his love for video games and computers into a business venture. Performance PC specializes in the production of custom-built computers that are powerful enough to operate the most demanding games. This young Thornhill student helps his clients build high-performance systems tailored to their needs, while providing a powerful and reliable home computer.
