The City of Vaughan will be opening up its air-conditioned public spaces over the next few days as the temperature is expected to rise above 30 degrees Celsius and over 40 degrees with the humidex factored in.

Community centres will be open during regularly scheduled hours and include washrooms, change rooms as well as water-bottle filling stations.

The city’s outdoor and indoor pools are also open. Vaughan has 17 outdoor splash pads throughout Maple, Thornhill and Woodbridge where residents can chill out.

A full list of community centres and hours of operation can be found at www.vaughan.ca/recreation or you can call Access Vaughan at 905-832-2281 for more information.
