July 2015
Everyone gathered at Vaughan City Hall for this year’s Big Bike 2015 event on June 10th. The event involves corporate and community teams of 29 members riding a giant 30-seat bike in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Teams in the area raise an average of $3000 with this year’s goal being able to raise $267,000 for life-saving research in York Region South (Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham). Funds raised through the Big Bike program will go towards the group’s important mission of preventing disease, saving lives and promoting recovery. This year’s Big Bike 2015 event was a huge success!
