Vaughan Council was proud to present the Ward 3 Civic Hero Award to Elvira Caria. Elvira has been recognized for 15 years of volunteerism, leadership and advocacy within the community. Some of Elvira's work within the community includes serving as Chair for the Vellore Woods Ratepayers' Association for 15 years, working with residents and Vaughan Council on a variety of local issues and volunteering for a number of not-for-profit organizations. Congratulations Elvira!
