GTA People - Seniors’ Strategy Advisory Task Force

York Region council has appointed a seniors’ strategy advisory task force comprising regional councillors and staff and representatives of York Regional Police to address the needs of its growing senior population. Council appointed Vaughan councillor Mario Ferri, Markham councillor Nirmala Armstrong,
East Gwillimbury mayor Virginia Hackson, Richmond Hill councillor Gino Rosati, Georgina councillor Danny Wheeler and Markham councillor Jack Heath to serve on the task force.
