Raise the Flag for Autism - World Autism Awareness Day

To celebrate Autism Awareness Day, members of Autism Ontario joined Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and City Councillors to Raise the Flag for Autism at Vaughan City Hall. On April 2nd, members of Autism Ontario invited their community of children, youth and adults and the families that support them to Vaughan City Hall where they were able to witness the raising of the Autism Awareness flag. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua welcomed everyone to this special event and noted just how important this flag raising event was to people within the city of Vaughan. The Mayor then assisted one of the Autism Ontario members with raising the flag which was a great sight to see. This event was a great way to raise awareness for autism which was very exciting for the members of Autism Ontario.
