Emergency crews battle house fire in Vaughan

Emergency crews responded to a house fire at a Vaughan home on Sunday night.

The fire broke out at a home in the Dufferin Street and Major MacKenzie Drive area in Vaughan.

York police say that there were visible flames coming from the house.

The fire was knocked down around 7 p.m., but emergency crews remained on the scene to battle hot spots, according to Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services.

There were no injuries reported.
